Easiest RA profession to use?
Not sure if it is answered before, or I am in the wrong forum.
What is the Easiest RA profession to use? For a PvE player joining RA for the first time.

Invoke eles are very easy to run.
Shell Shock - Invoke Lightning - Lightning Bolt - Blinding Flash - Shield Bash - Aura of Restoration - Air Attunement - Resurrection Signet
You can basically just spam all your damage spells on recharge, bflash physicals on recharge, defend yourself with shield bash, and heal yourself with aura. It's a very efficient bar that's not difficult to run. As far as equipment, run all blessed insignias, minor air, minor estorage, sup vigor, and two health runs. Good luck, cheers.

i would start with a profession you enjoy playing in pve, and take a pvp version of it, but profession is only part of it, develop a thick skin, use your common sense and perhaps turn off team and general chat whilst there, cause everyone gets flamed in ra

In my opinion, you should pick a profession/bar that you like, even if it's hard to play it, practice it and learn how it works. I believe you will learn faster how to play a bar, if you actually enjoy playing it. Though there's loads of bars like ErrantVenture and Yinsang suggested where you rollface on your keyboard and that's it, you can try it, but you might get bored of it pretty fast. The more important, don't get frustrated if you lose to much, everyone starts from the bottom, good luck.

even if you suck, just the fact that you're there providing heals is usually enough to make a team win. You have a much better chance of getting a good team when playing as a monk than getting a monk when playing good damage/pressure.

Invoke eles and some ps sin spiker is a really good place to start and learn the basics of ra with. When you learn the things like linebacking and know how to prioritize targets, step it up.

Any sort of ele, but it grows monotonous and boring really fast, I would recommend just learning the basics with an ele bar. Stoning, Invoke, Shatterstone or Mind Blast; places to start.

I like the Ranger, however, there are nasty stories that Rangers keep getting nerfed because of a Ranger Spike.

What aspect of the ranger do you like? They're also a survival class, but to be of any use to your team, you need good reactions to interrupt key skills.
Alternatively there are the beastmaster bars... Less utility, more damage.

Well then practice on ranger, keep in mind to spread poison, the ability to interrupt will come with time. After a while if you really get to like PvP, you might as well search for a GvG guild, since guild battles is, by far, the best way to practice and have fun in guildwars. Other thing that might help you, you go on observe and see how other rangers play, and if you wish pm them, there's loads of people that will be happy to help you explaining basics.

Rangers are not the easiest profession to play, lol
A lot of ele bars are pretty decent if you just press your skills, but to say that the bars are straight up easy to play would be doing the class a disservice. There's a lot of positioning, timings and decision making that can take quite a long time to master.
Unlike the dervish, where you can mash your skills and press your avatar button on recharge to great justice

There's some easy as hell button pressing builds I have saved. Invoke is almost idiot proof, Mind Blast is a little better for spamming one one player, generic CE necro is always good and some sort of dom spammer (e-surge or mantra hexes).

This sounds cool but.... How do you kill your pet? I noticed that a lot of RA players don't attack pets.

Mindblast template is probably the lowest skill:highest effect bar in the game. Might be a good place to start if you're new to PvP.

This,
A bad monk is worth 1 average player. A average monk is worth 1 good player. A good monk is basically RA Godmode.
Monks in PvP were balanced and designed for the assumption that teams would be utilizing skill combos and team coordination. This is why the average skill that deals over 100 damage has a recharge of 10x more than the recharge time of a monk skill that heals over 100 damage. In a random format without said teamwork, Monk is OP. Monks have been well known for being hilariously OP in RA for ages. Problem is if they nerfed it then HA and GvG and pretty much everything else would be broken and monks would be UP everywhere except RA.
If you are just playing for fun then anything is fine and you should play whatever class you like. If you want to faction farm for Zkeys and get gladpoints, Monk.

Somehow, monking in RA is one of the MOST frustrating things to do. I just /resign and don't bother when i see all those p/r's, n/rts, heal rits and whatnot running around dragging my team down. Synching is as alive as ever, so why persist and drag a baddie team just so you can lose before you even crawl up to 5 wins.
Nec or mes, on the other hand..
But for start ups, I'd say curse necro with ce and rip is best. Add foul feast and plague sending, faint, enfeeble/shield bash/return , defile defences for faint cover and block ownage, and you're set.
14 in curses, 13 in soul reaping. Tormentor's insignias, all minor runes of vitae+ 1 sr and a sup vigour rune.

Reminder to posters that the OP is looking for EASY roles to play, not difficult but effective ones...
I suggest running either Invoke or Mind Blast as both of these roles are easy to play, are useful in nearly any team, and will help you practice the basics.

Yep, eles are the best to learn (i know cause...well, is what i've done during last months).
The most difficult thing to do is prolly prioritize stuff (blind on meele in the right time, basic things like this).
Necros seems quite new-pvper friendly too, and you can always try the famous "OP as &£%$% pvp-derv for noobs!!!"
I find more difficulties think at builds for "no more new pvper but neither top GvG skilled players" like me. Not too hard to play, but not really button smashing, and rewarding for ability at the same time.
